GatorLAN 09 to Bring a Horde of Computers to Reitz Grand Ballroom
Gainesville, FL - November 23, 2009 - December 9th 2009, Gator Gaming, a subcommittee of UF's PBL organization, will be hosting GatorLAN Fall09, a 75 - 100 person LANParty. The event will cap off the semester with 450 AMPs of video gaming glory. Alienware, Thermaltake, and EA Games are onboard as sponsors and will be awarding for tournaments in Starcraft, Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
This epic occasion will be December 9th 2009, the last day of classes before the reading days. Opening at 5 PM for setup, gamers will be guaranteed 6 hours of gaming and are welcome to participate in tournaments.
In order to attend, gamers must register on-line or in person at Turlington. GatorLAN admins will be tabling noon - 3PM and collecting the $10.00 entry fee. Additionally to provide feedback, the online survey can be found at www.gatorgaming.com which will dictate game order and tournament types. Registration will also be available at the door for $15.
